Day 1 Irun to San Sebastián
We arrived in Irun, Spain today and began our pilgrimage in earnest. The first place we went was to the Church of Santa Maria de la Asunción y Del Manzano. Here we received our pilgrims passports that will be stamped every day to document the various places we visit and stay on our way. From Irun we went to San Sebastián where we were running on fumes from nearly 48 hours of continuous travel with little to no sleep. Yet we still managed the energy to do some sight seeing in this most amazingly beautiful city, gear up our bikes and ride in circles until we found our way to the hotel for the night.
Thank you for the prayers and well wishes you are sending us. Prayer works. Believe in it. I believe that your prayers for us have guided us safely and with no delays to our point of embarcation. Please continue to pray for us just as we are praying for all of you and the special intentions you have honored us to carry for you.
Please post comments as you are lead. We soooo enjoy hearing from you.
Dios Bendiga,
I would have crashed in bed for sure!! Kudos to you and Cathy for your amazing will and endurance. Enjoy! (and get a good night's sleep!)
ReplyDeleteHave fun you two
ReplyDeleteThinking of you
Ah yes, we know those travel adventures well. Long days & even longer nights where our circadian rhythym was off balance, we were hungry but not. We knew we would be like zombies trying to take care of two little girls who also thought it was time to play at 2 am local time, but 9 am body time.
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't trade those memories and neither will you. ¡Gozan todo!
Es El Espíritu adentro del corazón que da la fuerza para continuar en tu camino. Siempre orando por Vds. Gracias por tus comentarios diario. ¡Bien dicho! Bendiciones.
Tío, it’s wonderful to see and know what you are doing, thank you for blogging it all. <3
